Holly Court in Midsomer Norton is getting ready for a suitably spooky Halloween Market, with local traders being invited to take part.
The Holly Court Independent Halloween Market returns on 31st October from 10am to 3pm.
Alongside Holly Court’s permanent shops, organisers are hoping to fill Holly Court with up to 15 Halloween stalls, including seasonal treats, handmade crafts, food and drink, ghoulish gifts and scrummy goodies.
Organisers are looking for a varied mix of local makers, independent businesses, crafters and other traders to help create a lively Halloween atmosphere.
The Holly Court Independent Markets were first launched in 2025, with Halloween and Christmas events held alongside the town’s Christmas Light Switch-On. Monthly markets followed during early 2026 before organisers took a short break to regroup.
The markets were originally launched to encourage more people into Holly Court and showcase its local independent shops.
Proceeds from the markets are put back into improvements to make Holly Court an increasingly welcoming and vibrant shopping destination.
Kelly Copeman, one of the organisers, said: “We’re so excited to bring the Halloween Market back to Holly Court! There’s such a brilliant community spirit among the business owners here, and we’re looking forward to filling the court with spooky stalls, welcoming local traders, and showing everyone what a welcoming, vibrant spot Holly Court really is.”

About the organisers
One of the organisers of Holly Court Independent Markets is Kelly Copeman, who has been running a business in Midsomer Norton for more than seven years and moved to Holly Court in early 2025.
She co-manages The Nest Games & Collectibles, a board game, trading card, gaming and collectibles shop.
Kelly said: “The Nest Games & Collectibles is more than a shop. More importantly, it is a safe space and community hub.”
The shop also hosts retro console tournaments on Saturdays, Dungeons & Dragons on Fridays and a Men’s Awareness Group on Tuesdays.
