Local employers, business leaders and organisations are being invited to take part in Peasedown St John’s first ever Job Fair later this year.
To be held at the village’s local primary school, hundreds of job seekers and potential employees are expected to attend the event.
One of the organisers is village councillor, Cllr Karen Walker (Independent) who said:
“We’ve been wanting for some time to organise something like this locally. There needs to be more opportunities for those looking for work to meet potential employers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
At Peasedown’s first ever Job Fair we’re keen to pair up local employers with people living in the community who are searching for new work opportunities.
If you’re an employer, we’d love to hear from you!”
Job Fairs are events where multiple employers, recruiters, and organisations gather to meet with potential job seekers. It allows people to speak face-to-face with hiring managers, drop off CVs, and learn about open roles, apprenticeships and graduate programmes.
The Peasedown Job Fair will be held on Saturday 10th October, 10am – 2pm at Peasedown St John Primary School (Bath Road, BA2 8DH). Stall space is completely free!
