Celebrating Midsomer Norton’s History – Primitive Methodist Church, Welton

One of our aims at the Radstock Times is to celebrate local history.

Which part of our town’s history are you most proud of? Do you have any old photos you’d like to show us? Send us a copy and we’ll publish it here online.

PHOTO: Thanks to John for sending us this photo.

It shows the original Primitive Methodist Church in Welton, which opened in 1859.

Now used as apartments, the building is located behind a row of houses in Millard’s Hill. The foundation stone was laid by Rev R Hartley of Bristol.
