PHOTO: Thanks to Tom for sending us this photo. It’s of the old Welton Post Office in Midsomer Norton which opened in 1899 at the bottom of Millard’s Hill in Walter Harvey’s shop (who was Postmaster.)
It remained there until 1913, being replaced by Stones Cross post office which opened that year and continued until the 1950’s.
