New Indian Restaurant Opens in Peasedown St John

A new Indian restaurant has opened in the village of Peasedown St John, serving authentic Indian food with traditional recipes, aromatic spices and freshly prepared dishes that have already become a big hit with the local community.

Manager Anik Saha and his team opened The Curry House last month in a bid to provide a service that villagers would appreciate and value.

Welcoming the business to the community during their opening week, Peasedown Councillor, Cllr Karen Walker, was invited to meet Anik to find out more about what makes The Curry House special.

Cllr Walker said: “Thanks to Anik and his team for inviting me to meet them and to find out more about Peasedown St John’s newest business venture.

Peasedown St John is a large community with over 7,000 people living locally. There has always been a strong commitment from the village that we want to support local businesses, and to make sure our high street remains busy and buzzing.

If you haven’t visited The Curry House yet, I’d encourage you to do so – you won’t regret it!”

The Curry House will be taking part in a new ‘Support Local Businesses’ initiative, which will be launched by Cllr Karen Walker later in the autumn to raise the profile of Peasedown St John’s growing business community.
